Dear team,

For extending the EE4 – Mailchimp integration I would like a registration to trigger a mail campaign to the individual registration, i.e. Mailchimp’s automation feature. Although they’re wired up and registrants are added into groups with the add-on to EE4 the automation option asks for an e-commerce integration or API approach.

Would you be so kind to give some general background on how to use Mailchimp’s automation feature as part of your Mailchimp – EE4 addon?

Best,
Luc

Dear support team,

I found a way to work around this: I create a date triggered automation flow, created a date field in Mailchimp which should record to event date upon registration.
However, I cannot find a way to get Event espresso fill this Mailchimp’s event date field upon a registration. I see the field in the event setup page, but can only link to questions which are part of the event registration form. And the event date is not part of that form of course.
Could you advise me how to get the event date on a registration included in the data transmitted to Mailchimp? Then, I would have it all set up nicely.

Thanks; best,
Luc
