Even though the Zip code field is inlcuded in our question groups, it is not showing up in any of our registration forms.

Hi there,
This is because the Question groups that include the zip code field need to be added to the event. You go to the event editor, and in the box where it says Event Questions for Primary Attendee, then you check the box that says Address Information. Or you can check the box for another group if it has the Zip code field in it.

The field is in the Address Information group,.. AND that box is checked in the event editor.

One other thought is that it may have been hidden via CSS. Were you recently trying to hidden some content in Event Espresso?

Yes, it looks like that. I will double check your hidden content theory,. though I don’t really think that’s it. What CSS file should a take a look at?

Hi,
Try inspecting the empty area where the zip code field should appear. If it is there but hidden, then you’ll still see it in Chrome Developer Tools or Firebug or a similar browser tool.
You can also share a link here to an event and we’ll take a look.
Also, does this field appear if you try a manual registration for Event Espresso through the WordPress dashboard?
If it is missing from the manual registration area then I wonder if this field was accidentally renamed to something else.

The field shows up is we do a manual registration from the dashboard,.. but it does not show up in the front end registration form. I check the code via Chrome Developer and it is simply not there. The div tag is missing.

tried looking in the php templates,.. but can’t find the one that controls registration form fields.

This means that you have the Admin View Only option in the Zip code question editor set to Yes. You can make it viewable on the front end registration form by setting Admin View Only to No.
