I’m trying to use the event espresso app but when I’m entering all my info, I have an error saying Error with EndPoint URL. I really want to know what’s the problem.
Do you have the latest JSON API addon installed and activated on your site? Is the Settings set to public? (API Settings >Allow Public API Access? > Allow).
My collegue was able to access the app and we don’t have the JSON API. Is it something that is included with the personal licence, or we need it to buy it also?
The JSON API is included with the Event Espresso 3 Personal License. You’ll likely also need the ticketing add-on in order to send tickets that can be scanned with the app.
We have this add-on but we can’t figure it out how to enter our info in the Event Espresso app. If we do have the JSON API, where should it be located in our website.
The JSON API addon is a plugin available from your account page (you will need an account with a valid licence to access it). After downloading it you can install it like any other plugin. Make sure to change the settings for the addon (it will appear as API in the Event Espresso menu) to API Settings >Allow Public API Access? > Allow. You will probably want to change the timeout length as well, otherwise you will need to login quite often.
