Hi,
Like in the subject. I’m using EE3 with custom temlates and I would like to add the ‘you have already registered/paid for this event’ info/badge to my event listing.
Say that user has account and is logged in. The only thing I can see after going through registration/payment/confirmation of that is that the limit of attendants changed, but the info like “YOU’RE ON” would be extremely helpful for users,especially if having a lot of events with similar names

Officially Event Espresso does not include that feature within core, although @Dean created a function to display a message similar to this which is available within this thread:

Yes, it seams (by looking at code there, so it will fit the need.
Perhaps it would be good to make it a function, instead and place such microfeatures in separate functions file in the custom templates folder…
I’m fairly new to EE coding, so perhaps someone introduced that idea earlier 😉
Point is that php+html coding mixture is always somewhat unreadable or potentially explosive. I myself prefer melt html tags into php and spit things out by echoes or flush at the script end, instead other way around, like it’s common in wp and related templates. De gustibus 😉
