Has anyone else had this? I paste the link to an event URL on Facebook either on a post or in messenger and it displays the wrong event details but the link goes to the correct event?

Thanks, Andrew.

Hi Andrew, are you using a link like this?

example.com/event-registration/?ee=123

Can you drop your link in the Facebook debugger tool and let us know if you still see the wrong event information?

https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

Thanks for the quick response. I have tried that and it shows the incorrect event in the debugger.

This is the correct URL http://www.appletonphototraining.com/event-registration/?ee=198

It shows the details for this event: http://www.appletonphototraining.com/event-registration/?ee=190

Hi Andrew,

What you’ll need to do is create a page for the event, or use the automatic “Create a post” feature in the EE3 editor, and then you use the URL for that page or post on your Facebook post/message.

Thanks, I’ll do that.
