Hello,

I am using Event manager at the moment and I am not happy with the shortcode, display of the events and the fact that there is no integration with mail chimp.

I do monthly open events, I like my customers to register online, and to be able to send them invitation, to get datas, and to be paid in GBP…

I have seen your website but I can’t decide which EE I should purchase, EE3 or EE4. Also I am a business but my main income come from Private and corporate events not from my open events, so I want to spend the minimum needed and be able to upgrade at any time.

Could you please help me with my choice?

Kind regards,

Stéphanie.

Hi solste,

I’ll try to help as best I can.

Event Espresso can handle all of the above with the exception of sending invitations, can you explain a little more how you expect this to work please? We may have a feature that will do what you are thinking.

I want to spend the minimum needed and be able to upgrade at any time.

All of the license’s can be upgraded, our sales team can help with that whenever you need to do so.

Do you offer promotional discount codes for your events at all?

Hi Tony,

Thanks for your prompt reply :)always appreciate.

“Event Espresso can handle all of the above with the exception of sending invitations, can you explain a little more how you expect this to work please? We may have a feature that will do what you are thinking.”

Like invitation with eventbrite. But I have understood that EE does mail chimp integration, so I assume from that we can send invitation/newsletter with the event list, am I right?

Yes I do offer promotional discount for people coming from different network groups for example.

Which one do you recommend EE3, EE4 and which price $49, $99, $199?

Thanks for your help,

S.

Yes you would need to create a campaign for the invitations through MailChimp and send them that way.

Yes I do offer promotional discount for people coming from different network groups for example.

If you currently use Promo Codes then you will need to use EE3 as EE4 currently does not support them.

EE3 license’s start from $99 for the Personal License which includes the following Add-on’s :-

Custom Template Add-on
JSON API Add-on
Social Media Buttons Add-on
Events Calendar Add-on
EE4 Events Calendar Add-on

For MailChimp integration you will need the MailChimp Add-on which you can purchase separately or it is included within the EE3 Business License ($199) which includes other Add-ons which may be of use.

All EE3 License’s include access to EE4 currently so that you can migrate to EE4 once it supports you current requirements if you prefer to do so.

You can also testdrive both EE3 and EE4 here:

Test Drive Event Espresso 3

Test Drive Event Espresso 4

Which gives you access to the full plugins (some features that apply globally are restricted) so you create a test event and get a feel for the features beforehand.
