I have created an event, and added three different pricing levels to register for the event. However, it automatically defaults to just the first one, and doesn’t give the option for other prices.
I have a personal license of EE3, which is supposed to support multi-level pricing.

Hi,

It looks like you have disabled Event Espresso on your site, so I cannot currently review what’s happening.

Are the prices just not showing on the front end of the site or are they disappearing in the event editor as well?

Hi, it’s actually on a client’s website: machabitat.org. Their user is carriemartin, but I used my login here because that way I would get the notice directly.

In the event editor it’s showing the “Event Pricing” section. The left hand side shows the Standard pricing and the right hand side shows the member pricing. It’s a public event, so we even tried deleting the member pricing, but it said it requires both pricing.

Hi,

When using the WP User Integration Add-on the ‘Standard Pricing’ is shown to non-logged in users, the ‘Member Pricing’ for logged in users. The prices and names for each of the sections can be the same, but for each standard price, a member price is required.

When multiple prices have been input into an event, that event should show a Price option drop-down by default to allow the attendee to select their pricing option. I found the event on the site you linked to and it does not show the drop-down.

Have the default Event Espresso templates (or other core files/functions) been modified?

No, the Event Espresso templates have not been modified, yet the dropdown is not showing in the front end.
I have seen other posts in the forum with the same problem, but it typically was because they were missing an add-on. I could give you admin access to the back end, but it would have to be sent through another channel.

If you can send log in details via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

I’ll take a look and see if I can see anything that could cause this.

Hi Gerardo,

Apologies for the delay getting back to you over this.

I notice the site now displays the price dropdown and that the WP Members Add-on has been de-activated. The reason your prices were not displayed was due to the site using an older version of the WP Members Add-on (v 1.9) with the latest version of Event Espresso which means EE was calling for functions that do not exist within the Members Add-on, causing no dropdown to be displayed.

The latest version of WP Members is 1.9.8 which includes the correct functions needed. You currently have a personal license which does not include updates for that Add-on, so if you wish to update you would need to either upgrade your license or purchase WP Members separately.

Hope that helps 🙂
