EE3 How to avoid Step 2 selection in checkout

Hi Guys,

In our payment form we have a radio box selection that allows for Credit Card or Invoice payment. After the user selects either option they get the same question again through the build in “Please choose a payment option”.

Is there a way I can push through the radio button option so the user doesn’t need to select it again?

Hi Antonie, it sounds like something is being duplicated and I’m not sure if this is expected. Could you provide a link to an event or some screenshots of what you are describing?

Hi, that looks like a custom solution was created by a web developer. Could you follow up with the web developer to have them add that functionality?

Hey Lorenzo, the developer told me it’s not possible because but I think it’s highly on likely. Is it not possible to do a submit into the selected payment option?

Hi Antonie, I’m not sure as we didn’t customize the coding for you.

Here is an overview of the registration flow in Event Espresso 3:

Complete registration form on single event page –> Confirm registration (ensure details are correct) –> Pay for registration –> Arrive at thank you page (emails are also sent out)

It looks likes your flow is done in two steps so the middle step above has been removed.

Hi, the problem here is that we didn’t write the code for you so I’m looking at what I can see in the screenshot. We also do not provide custom coding assistance in our support forums.

Can you share a link to an event?

I’ll then ask a team member for feedback but again we would not be able to provide any help in terms of custom coding since this isn’t something that we customized for you.
