I can add events but my updates to events (single or reoccurring) are not being made. what do you recommend. Right now I have to delete every event I want to change and add it back. This is very time consuming. The changes I’ve made since this has happened was just to install s2 the plugin. I’ve deactivated and tried to make changes but still no luck.

Hello Diane,
Are you seeing any error messages when you update an event?
You mentioned that you tested with S2 deactivated. Have you also tested with only Event Espresso running?

I wasn’t updating the page that had the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] tag. I made another page for display better sorted lists on the website using the [EVENT_LIST category_identifier]. I didn’t realize the page with the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] was the one to update.

Even though I was updating the wrong page, some of the updates were showing on the website. I think this made it take longer to figure out what the problem was.

Thank you for sharing. Be sure that the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode remains in place. It is required for Event Espresso to work correctly.
The Event List shortcode is optional.
