EE3 -> EE4 Upgrade Blew Up; Need Help

Tried to upgrade from EE3 to EE4. Maintenance mode got to the final transitional upgrade and then I started getting memory errors. I’m using WP 4.+ and PHP 5.4 with Fast CGI. I have memory set at 160MB. Also using the SeedProd (Coming Soon Pro) plug-in.

I bought a Support Token and don’t know how to use that either.

Hi there,

You can redeem your support token by going to your account page and clicking where it says “To redeem your token(s) please complete this form”

Then you fill out the secure form and we can take a look.

I’m on the redeem token form, but it won’t let me get by the URL for this Support Topic. I put in https://eventespresso.com/topic/ee3-ee4-upgrade-blew-up-need-help/ which is about all I know. Enlighten me, please!

You’ll need to fill out the form completely before it will let you click the submit button. Which field do you need help with?

Hi there,

We got the FTP creds and they work. Can you please double check the WP admin creds you sent and resend? Better yet, it would be best if you create a new WP admin account and send us the creds for that. This way, when we are done, you can delete that account.

Hi John,

Please double check that WP admin password. It is not working.

Better yet, it would be best if you create a new WP admin account and send us the creds for that. This way, when we are done, you can delete that account.
