Team i bought EE with great expectations, to my dismay both ee3 n ee4 are extremely slow.
while ee3 has addons its very very slow simply not able to use it, pls advice if there are any specific php or wordpress settings required.
ee4 relatively better ,but addons are not coming i just saw the time lines its 2015-2016 that too if you get sponsors
i did use ee4 for a client but we had tough time as it lacked lot many features atleast WP user integration is a must there.
Pls help i want to use EE3 at least if performance can be improved.

Hi,
Where is it slow – the admin or the front end or both?
What type of hosting are you running (shared, VPS, dedicated)?
How many events and registrations are in your system?
Have you checked to make sure your server has enough memory allocated?
(This may help but you may also need to check with your host as some hosts limit memory regardless of PHP settings – http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP)

Its a Shared server but the front end takes almost 15 sec to 20 sec to load for ee3
other usual sites loads in 2-3 sec of time
128mb is memory limit its a 24cpu 24gb box server load is less than 0.5 to 2 max

How many events and registrations are in your system?
