I have created question groups for primary and additional attendees. As long as I go to the event page, the question groups display just as expected and everything works fine.

However, I don’t want to use the default event pages. I use shortcodes instead. If I use either the ESPRESSO_REG_FORM or ESPRESSO_REG_PAGE shortcodes, then only the “Personal information” group shows up. I have tried every possible setting and am unable to find a workaround.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I tested this on the latest version of EE3 and saw no issues.

Do you have an example page I can look at? Also the event url please.

Have you made sure that the event id in the shortcode is correct?

Thank you. Here’s the repro:

Direct link to event: http://ftuniversity.staging.wpengine.com/event-registration/?ee=2
Link to a page using the shortcode: http://ftuniversity.staging.wpengine.com/events/ftu-dallas/

The event ID is most definitely correct, I’m afraid…

Hi, is ReCaptcha enabled on the site through the General Settings page?

I see this messaging:

Anti-Spam Measure: Please enter the following phrase

However, there is no recaptcha appearing.

It was enabled (but somehow not working.) It’s disabled now, but that doesn’t address the issue 🙂

Hi,

I ran some testing on out testdrive site which uses the current version of Event Espresso 3.1.36.6.P:

http://testdrive.eventespresso.com/testingtmsm/

Could you go to the event and re-save without making any other changes?

Also, does your shortcode look similar to this:

[ESPRESSO_REG_FORM event_id=234]

My shortcode is [ESPRESSO_REG_FORM single_event_id=”iad_09201411–5455461c87433″]

I’ve tried with and without quotes. To find out the ID I clicked on Get shortcode on the event page.

I’ve resaved – it hasn’t changed anything.

Hi, try the event_id as in the numeric value for that event. You can find this by browsing to the events overview page.

It also appears at the end of the URL when viewing this event through the event editor.

That should work.

Haha, that did the trick! Many thanks!

I’d suggest updating your documentation to clarify the syntax – the notion of ID is a bit vague since it might be the numeric ID or alphanumeric identifier.

Glad you got it working, and thanks for the input regarding the documentation!
