Hi I was on an old v3 EE3 so brought a license and upgraded to the latest Event Espresso v3.1.37.14.P
However this didn’t fix my problem – which is strange as I have been using EE3 since 2015 and never had this issue
I create a new event or copy an old event and edit it
I cannot see where to set the event date – its blank
In event dates and times it has the times but the dates are blank (ie no boxes)

As a quick fix I have edited the MySQL tables for dates in wp_events_detail, however I would like to know why I can no longer see dates in the EE3 wp-admin back end for new events and editing old events

We found the reason why you couldn’t edit dates and it was because the “Countdown Timer – Widget Countdown” was adding some scripts to the event editor page. Those scripts were manipulating the date inputs.
I put together a little plugin that removes those scripts on the Event Espresso event editor page. Its name is “Espresso Fix Countdown Widget Scripts Conflict”. That plugin is activated on your site now, and as long as its activated you will no longer have that issue.
