EE3 – automated followup email to attendees after event

Hello,

I am a happy user of EE3, and I’m hoping it’s possible to automatically end a followup email to registered attendees after the event is over. I want to use this for a couple of reasons:

1. Promote upcoming events.
2. Offer products and services.
3. Survey attendees to see how well we did.

Currently I have an email setup in the “Email Manager” section of EE3. I’m trying to follow the directions on this page of your wiki: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/email-manager/#30_

See where it says “For example, you could create:

Thank you for signing up email
Reminder emails
Payment emails
Thanks for attending emails

How can I automate this with EE3? If this isn’t possible, is there a workaround? I am prepared to use MailChimp if needed.

Hi there Melody, this is not currently available for Event Espresso 3. You may be able to use MailChimp but you would need to manually create the follow up emails for each event.

We are planning out an add-on to handle this in Event Espresso 4 (e.g. remind attendees/registrants about event, send a thank you email to registrants one day after event).
