I understand that we can create an event with multiple dates with EE4, but EE4 does not have an integration with Infusionsoft at this time. Can you point me to resources that allow me to create an event – like a play – that has various dates/times that the event is occurring. I have looked into the reoccuring event option, however, I need the customer to be able to choose (hopefully) from a drop down list what date/time they would like to attend. Thank you! |
|
Let me clarify – I am looking for this option compatible with EE3, and I am unable to upgrade to EE4 because of the limitations with Infusionsoft. Thank you! |

It sounds like the recurring events dropdown template is what you are looking for. https://eventespresso.com/product/recurring-events-drop-down/ |

September 11, 2014 at 10:20 pm Thank you, Sidney, for your response. I’m very confused. I just purchased the add-on that you suggested for me, but I am now being prompted that I also have to purchase the Reoccuring Events Manager add-on as well – per this youtube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYNMfV0T1Is Can I make this add-on function without this other add-on? |

September 11, 2014 at 10:33 pm Now I’m understanding that the reocurring events dropdown template equires the Custom Template add-on to be installed and activated, but this can only be downloaded when you have a support license. This is all very, very frustrating. When being sent through the purchasing page, these notifications should be stated. |

September 11, 2014 at 10:34 pm Is it possible to speak with a tech support, just so that I can buy the right add-on to do this simple task?? I see that EE charges $70 a 30 minute session, but all I need help with is just purchasing the right add-on. Who can help me? |

Hi Juli, I am sorry for the confusion here. Yes, to speak to someone on the phone will cost a support token, but hopefully we can get you sorted via the forums. EE3 does not allow an event to have multiple dates as such. To achieve this you would need to create an event per date. (You can use EE3 to have a date like 20th to 25th for example, but that doesn’t sound feasible for you as it’s still classed as one event). The Recurring Event Manager (REM) simply allows you to speed up and slightly automate the creation of duplicate events over a period of time. For example, you can set it so that you have a date range of Monday to Friday and it will create 5 events for you. Or a month’s worth, or 1 event per month for a year and so on. The Recurring Events Dropdown Template requires both REM and the Custom Templates Addon. The Custom Templates addon is included in your licence by default, and it can be downloaded from your account page (https://eventespresso.com/users/artgardenstudios/). The only thing you are missing from the equation is REM (Recurring Events Manager) https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-recurring If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. |

Hi Dean, |
|
Hello – I have still not heard back on this question. Is 3 hours a typical return time on forum questions for regular business hours? I’m just concerned, because I would love to go into the weekend with this issue resolved so I can start building the product. Thank you! |
Hi Julie, Add-ons for Event Espresso 3 are bundled together for each support license to offer you savings over purchasing them individually. They cannot be exchanged for other add-ons. — |

Hi Lorenzo, Thank you for your feedback. I am so extremely disappointed in Event Espresso so far. I am disappointed in the lack of access to support, forum answers that take hours to get responses to, the fact that discussing basic service needs is $70 a half hour, even on the proactive sale ends, which leads to mistakes in purchases on the customer’s end, which leads to the need for additional costly add-ons that cannot be exchanged. Your forums are unorganized and difficult to maneuver. Your youtube channel is spotty and non-comprehensive. Your profile pages on add-on’s are limited, and neglect to include information – like $80 necessary other add-ons. This is a terrible and beyond frustrating customer experience. Shame on Event Espresso. How can I get more information on getting a full refund on Event Espresso? I was hopeful that Event Espresso, being a powerful product, would solve my business needs. But I feel now that I do not want to support a business who does not have care for the customer at the root of their mission. |
Hi Juli, I am very sorry for your disappointment. It was not our intention to cause this frustration. I am going to email you at the email address provided in your account to see how we can correct this. |
