Hello,

After several months of back and forth here is my question:

We use EE3 with WordPress and the CustomWeb gateway. The Customweb gateway does not pass on the “Event Name” information to EPDQ. Trying to sort out which transaction belongs to which event has proven a nightmare for our accountants.

Several emails to Customweb have not resolved the issue.

Which gateway will pass on this info to EPDQ?

EE3 has been working extemely well for us and we do not wish to change at this time.

Any information is greatly appreciated!

Customweb have confirmed to me that passing over the EE Event name info is not possible with their plugin.

As well, their plugin ONLY works with EE3 and they have no plans to upgrade it to work with EE4.

A very expensive glitch and I would certainly avoid using their products in the future.

Hi there,

I’m afraid that I’m not aware of another payment gateway that works with Barclays EPDQ and Event Espresso 3.

One other option you can look into is the Mijireh gateway which is built into Event Espresso 4, they list Barclays EPDQ as one of the gateways they support:

http://www.mijireh.com/docs/payment-gateways/

While I don’t have a copy of the third party EPDQ EE3 gateway to verify what they’re doing, the gateways that we built in house for EE3 all send the event name. So unless there’s a limitation that comes from EPDQ, they should be able to send the event name along with the transaction.
