I installed the latest version of EE (Version 4.10.40.p).After that, I upgraded the PHP from 7.4 to 8. When testing the site (signing up for an event), there came the message: “there are technical problems, please try again later.” When downgrading to version 7.4, problems where solved and the plugin worked again as it should.
It seams that the latest version of EE does not fully work with PHP 8?
What could be the problem? And how to upgrade to PHP 8?

Hi there,
The error you have posted is the ‘forward facing’/’user facing’ error and it doesn’t help point out what the problem actually is, unfortunately.
We’ll need the ‘full’ error which should be saved to the server’s error logs, your host will usually have a section you can use to view the logs within your control panel.
If you can post that here we can investigate further, I’m running 4.10.40.p on multiple test sites using PHP8.0 without it throwing any fatals.
