Hi,

I’m building a WP website for a client. They are an Events Management Company.

At their request I have bought EE4 and installed it on the site (built using iThemes Builder)

This is the result of uploading the plugin and adding a test event.

http://projectmayhemevents.ne-dc.co.uk/events/

where’s it should look like

http://projectmayhemevents.ne-dc.co.uk/ – with the event being in the main content area (content area is where the big picture is.

However I have set the BOOKING page (http://projectmayhemevents.ne-dc.co.uk/booking/) to be the page on the sit ethat lists any/all events – yet it displays nothing.

Really need help on this ASAP

Hi Richard,

It looks like iThemes Builder has a few things going on with its post loop that we don’t expect to happen. Does Builder have its own way of integrating Custom post types? If you can send a copy of the theme to support@eventespresso.com we can take a look at the code and investigate further.

Hi,

How exactly have you got this set up? More info on the setup could help us figure out what the actual issue is.

I ran as close an approximation to your site as possible on a test server (so Nav, Widget, Widget, Widget, Content, Widget, Footer) and I also set this is as the default layout. I even set it as the default layout for the archives and the events didn’t overflow like they have on your site.

Hi,

Thanks for the login details you sent.

The first thing is would do is update your theme. The version you are using is 2.8.8, but the copy you sent to us to test with is 3.4.9

At worst it will put us on a level playing field, at best it will resolve the issue for you.

Please let me know what happens after you update your theme.
