We had an event on February 21st and February 22nd, we had someone place an order on February 18th but she received her Event Registration Detail email on February 24th. Is there a known bug that will sometimes do this? All of our other registrants received their email right after they ordered. Please let me know what you can do to help.
We’ve seen this happen before where the mail server queues up the emails and there is a delay in sending those out. You can bypass the queue by using a transactional email service like Mandrill or PostMarkapp.
Hi, we are not sure how that happened as Event Espresso does not have a messages queue system. That is, there isn’t a mechanism to hold emails and send them at a specific time.
Did this attendee have an aggressive email filter so the email may have arrived in a junk or spam folder?
Although it is possible the attendee had an aggressive email filter, I just don’t understand how the email came in 6 days after registration and 2-3 days after the events. The email was delivered to the attendee yesterday. If EE does not have a message queue system, is it then possible it has to do with slowness of the server?

I’m not sure that is the cause as you would be seeing more attendees/registrants experiencing this issue.
