There is no define like this in 4.2 so we got an error trying to activate the mailchimp plugin.

Hi Susan,
It turns out the Event Espresso 4 compatible version of the MailChimp integration isn’t ready yet. When it’s available to download we’ll make an announcement in this other thread:

In the meantime if you require Mailchimp integration we recommend using Event Espresso 3.

How do I back ee4 out. I converted my records to eel, and now I can’t deactivate it or EE3. Will I loose my EE3 records if I delete EE4 at this point?

Hello,
You can deactivate Event Espresso 4 and restore from a database backup. Then reinstall Event Espresso 3 through WordPress admin –> Plugins.
