Hi,

We would like to use EE with wp-types toolset.

For this, the guys at wp-types told us to:
1. Remove the PHP that declared Events and Venues Custom types
2. Add the new custom post type with the same name and slug in their Type plugin
3. Match the custom types fields of EE’s Events and Venues to new custom field Group

For more info: https://wp-types.com/faq/how-do-i-convert-existing-custom-types-and-fields-to-types-control/

But, they also told me that my custom post type need tu be public and that radios fields, select fields, checkboxes fields, date fields, etc, have specific formats in different plugins. (for more info: https://wp-types.com/forums/topic/creating-custom-post-type-of-another-plugin-with-cred/)

Do you think it’s possible to make those plugin work together ?

Thank you.

Possible, yes, however we do not recommend following the instructions they gave you because it involves editing core files and could break basic Event Espresso functionality.
