Hello, I had reached out about this issue in a previous post:

My Events Administrators get an error when trying to access EE. A blank screen pops up with the message “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
The administrator role functions as it should.
I have set up a staging site on BlogVault with EE 5.0.7 installed and cannot figure out what is causing this issue.

Thanks, I will send my staging site info via the link.
I did end up figuring out the issue. It seems that for the Events Administrator user role to work with EE 5.0.7, “edit_pages” and “edit_posts” must be checked in the user role editor.
Is there a way around this? I don’t want Event Admins to access pages, posts and comments.

That’s likely pretty difficult because Event Espresso events are technically posts in the WordPress system…

Yes, but EE 4.10.46 (and all previous versions) do not have that issue. I currently have my site set up with that version and those functions disabled in User Role Editor.

Hmm ok, so I can reproduce this when comparing between 4.10.46 and EE5.
I have created a ticket for our developers to investigate this further.

Thank you! It is workable for now but would be preferable if it could be consistent with EE4.
