Hi,

I’ve upgraded to the latest EE 4.8.27p on WP 4.4 and it seems to be spitting out http links on a site that is configured to use SSL only. For example on the homepage you see:

<link rel=’stylesheet’ id=’espresso_default-css’ href=’http://www.instituteofpublicspeaking.com/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/templates/global_assets/css/espresso_default.css?ver=9a2ff8cd28f5e7b1d546bfc644f1ffdcp&#8217; type=’text/css’ media=’all’ />

<link rel=’stylesheet’ id=’espresso_social_buttons-css’ href=’http://www.instituteofpublicspeaking.com/wp-content/plugins/eea-events-social-sharing/assets/espresso_social_buttons.css?ver=9a2ff8cd28f5e7b1d546bfc644f1ffdcp&#8217; type=’text/css’ media=’screen’ />

Is there a way to fix this?

Hi Jospeh,

I’m seeing something a little different across your website:
http://www.screencast.com/t/bA67dKfowy

Looks like it’s being loaded from a css file:
http://www.screencast.com/t/HjOybsRgeDia

and http://www.screencast.com/t/ZjxinCxVks5

Please let us know if you are still seeing insecure files from Event Espresso after that’s fixed.

You might also double-check your SSL configuration, because the home page of the site can still be loaded over http.

Seth,

Thanks for that. I’m not seeing that link is an actual file. Where would it be for me to edit it?

Thanks

Hi Joseph,

Usually something like a Google Font is loaded up by the WP theme, and there’s some information on how to make sure the theme loads the fonts over both SSL and non-SSL here:

Turns out it was my .htaccess file after all. Thank you Seth and Josh for your help.

Happy Holidays to you!

=)
