I’m trying to utilize the upcoming events widget to display an image in the sidebar, and it does not appear to work. Not only is there no way to set a featured image in the EE event editing page, but there’s no documentation I can find in the forum! help?

Likewise, there is no “display featured image” setting in the Template options of EE menu

Hi, that option is available if your theme has support for featured images.
Are you able to add featured images via posts (blog posts) in your WP dashboard?

Lorenzo, No, I’m not able to add featured images to posts within EE but I can add them to standard posts

Hi Steve,
Usually when that happens the theme is setting specific post types to allow feature images for, as EE events are not standard posts the feature image feature does not get enabled for them. Ideally the theme should not set specific post types and just enable the feature.
Which theme are you using? Could you send me a copy to review?
