Description
This plugin is very useful as for administrators of WordPress websites and for the users. It sends notifications about successful and failed login actions. If someone wants to hack or bruteforce the passwords of your users or administrator password, you will get full information about the attacker. It will show you IP address, Browser and Location (city and country) of the hacker. If hacker is lucky and he got your password, you will get notification about it. What you need to do, just change the password. Without this plugin hackers can use your accounts for a long time and you will not know about it.

Doesn’t allow to the hackers to use your accounts and passwords.

Main features:

Easy to install, easy to use.
Does not require extra configuration.
Catchs successful and failed login actions.
Sends notifications to the user and to the administrator by email.
Shows Date/Time of access action, Browser, IP address, Location (City, Country). Please note this plugin uses 3rd party service http://api.ipinfodb.com (IP geolocation API)

Hi Simon,

I guess I don’t understand what’s going on. You said EE 3.8.1. That’s not a version number for EE. It sounds like you are updating WP to 3.8.1. Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing? You can do this by uploading a screenshot to your media manager in WordPress and pasting the link here.

Thanks!

Hi Jonathan,

I took a screenshot yesterday
http://jobza.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/Screen-Shot-2014-04-04-at-8.22.50-PM.png

Totes bizarre.. today it’s showing a different plugin update to yesterday:
http://jobza.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/Screen-Shot-2014-04-05-at-9.23.34-AM.png

I think you’re right about the version. I probably skipped over the missing version number and read 3.8.1. http://jobza.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/Screen-Shot-2014-04-05-at-9.22.51-AM.png

Let me know if you’d like admin access to the site.

Many thanks,
Simon

Hello Simon,

Please try a reinstall of your software. Begin by backing up your WordPress:

https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups

Next, download the latest version of your Event Espresso software from your account:

https://eventespresso.com/users/simba/

Now login to your WordPress admin and go to Plugins. Locate Event Espresso in the list of plugins and deactivate and delete it.

Return to the Plugins screen and click on Add New –> Upload. Then browse to the zip file that you downloaded from your account. Select it and begin the upload process. When it is finished activate Event Espresso.

Hi Lorenzo.

Well the site is ready for prime-time so I’ll be going live with it, rebuilding my system, and using the EE license key, so I’ll see if the issue re-occurs on the live site. If so then I’ll try that.

Many thanks,
Simon
