My client is experiencing issues while attempting to add a new datetime on some of their events. They can select a start datetime from the calendar pop-up that appears, and would like to have the end time on the same day. The issue, however, is when they go to select the end datetime the calendar popup starts on the year 2117! Some screenshots below:
I was strangely not able to duplicate this issue with my user login, but multiple other users on the site have reported the same issue. And it’s not easy to edit the date manually since clicking on the datetime always initiates the calendar pop-up. Any idea what could be causing this or how to resolve?
Wordpress 4.7.2 is being used
Current version of Event Espresso 4 (4.9.29)
Time zone in settings: Denver
**Update
I did end up having the same issue as my client while adding new datetimes for them. So I don’t believe this is a user-specific issue. The 4034 year populated after I had selected a date within the year I wanted in the calendar.
The incorrect end dates may be the result of a theme or plugin conflict.
You can rule out a potential theme or plugin conflict by following these steps:
1) A theme conflict. You can rule this out by temporarily switching to the default WordPress theme, then test. The theme test drive plugin allows for testing another theme without actually changing your site’s theme.
2) A plugin conflict. You can rule this out by temporarily deactivating any other installed WordPress plugins. Then you reactivate them one by one, while testing the error condition between each reactivation.
It may also help to turn on debug mode. You can set wp_debug to true by editing the wp-config.php file.
