Edited Default Messages not Updating

I updated several outgoing Default Messages to change language better suited to Client’s liking and they are not updating when sent via email.

For example, I would like for the Ticket Notice body of the email to read:
Print your registration!

But it still reads Print you ticket(s)! It works fine when I run a test from the website. But when I test a payment via Stripe, it is sending me the original default message.

Any reason as to why this is? I am running the latest updates to Event Espresso.

Hi there,

It sounds like you are editing the wrong ‘context’.

A single message template can have multiple contexts in which it is used, for example a Registration Approved template has an Event Admin, Primary Registrant (disabled by default) and Registrant. It sounds like your editing the event admin context and then the registrant email is still default.

For more information on working with message contexts view here:

The ticket notice message template you want to be editing is the Registrant context.
