During a transaction, if the email address entered is already attached to an account an error message pops up briefly indicating that, with a Login Button. That button links to the regular WordPress Log in Page. After logging in you have to start over again because it does not continue where you left off. This is what I am referring to:
The second time that warning appears it is not a pop up. It looks like this. That login button leads to a pop up login like this that allows you to resume what you were doing after logging in.
Is there a way to change that button in the first error warning to link to the login in the second instance?
It also works the same way when someone is editing attendee information from the thank you page.
Firstly I’d like to apologise for the delay getting back to you.
Currently there is no way alter the button within the popup, I have created a ticket for some developer feedback on this and will update this post with any news.
Thanks for getting back to me Tony. I was thinking maybe changing that error from being a popup to the other type that has the button that makes it more convenient to log-in
Could you update to the latest version of both Event Espresso and the WP Users Add-on and retest this please?
The first message should no longer display, only the inline message with the login link that worked as expected.
