Is there a way I can register people from the back end and change the amount due/paid/free, etc. Right now I do not have a choice. In EE3 I could go in and change the amount owed to anything I wanted in the backend. I have a large number of free and reduced price registrations I need to start entering.
Currently with EE4 you can not alter the ticket value from within a registration, you need to create a new ticket and place a registration selecting that ticket, or you can apply a manual payment within the translation and the user can pay the remainder.
Free users you can register onto the event and then set the registration status to ‘Approved’ as Approved registration apply to the event regardless of the transaction value.
You could use the WP User Integration add-on and set a ticket up using the cap ‘manage_options’ so only the event admin role can register onto those, would that work?
We decided that the best method was to change the Check/Money Order payment method to read “Discount”. We customized all the messages and made this an admin only option so once we applied the “Discount” payment to an attendee it would read properly to the attendee and would make sense to the admins.
P.S. Also, once the balance hit 0 it made them an official attendee so that was nice as well.
Yes that’s expected. If a transaction is completely paid EE updates the registration to Approved automatically, you can also do that when applying manual payments yourself within the payment model by changing the status dropdown.
Anyway I’m glad you have a working solution, let us know if you have any problems ๐
