Hi Event Espresso team.
Currently we have our events set up with an Early Bird Ticket and a Standard Ticket. Early Bird finishes 2 months before an Event before changing to the Standard ticket.
We have had issues where we want to apply promotions, but to standard tickets only. Event Espresso only lets me select by Event and not ticket type.
I tried to go around this by looking at a promotional code for Early Bird Registrations, but have decided not to proceed due to the fact you cannot remove an event from a code once it has been used.
Is there any fixes or recommendations for this issue? I did see in previous posts that this was an idea (https://trello.com/c/zCsClu98/112-promotions-add-ticket-scope-to-promotion) but not sure if it came to fruition.

Hi there,
That feature has not been added to the promotion add-on yet, however with your setup, the Promotion code ‘Valid From’ field should work.
As you have an early bird ticket and then switch to a ‘standard’ ticket on a specific date, you can create a promotion code that is only valid from that date, so if someone tries to use it on an early bird ticket it shows as invalid.
So as an example, you have something like this – https://monosnap.com/file/5olY9jPICLjnNwKTsfvrfEsq08RHGb
So your promotion code can be set to valid from (in this example) – 2019-09-01 12:00 am
