Hi Josh

After the latest update i now have duplicate content on my event pages and cannot see where it is coming from I have login details and screenshots of the problem so i can show you in detail but do not want them to be public.

Thanks,
Ben.

Hi there,

Duplicate content usually means either the theme or a plugin is running the_content filters more than once.

If you temporarily switch to a default theme and view the event does it still show the duplicate content?

You can switch themes without affecting your users using the Theme Test Drive plugin.

Another approach you could take to troubleshoot this if you need to rule out a plugin conflict would be to install the Health Check plugin, then go to WP → Dashboard → Heath Check → Troubleshooting. There you’ll Enable Troubleshooting Mode, then once that’s activated you’ll reactivate Event Espresso only via the Health Check’s Troubleshooting item in the WP admin bar. At that point, can you check to see if the post content is still duplicated?
