Hi,
I am currently using EE4.7.9p. I saw a couple of posts on the forum about the possibility to duplicate an event : in the “Edit” event page, I should be able to click on Duplicate (see an example here: https://monosnap.com/image/QQ9TtPVhnxnbULcdgQlZxuAzQREkQn)
But in my Event page, I don’t have this space with the Permalink address, Edit/View Event etc. under the title. I only have the title, and it goes right to the Add Media button.
Is there anything I have to setup to get the Duplicate Event button?

Hi Samuel,
You do not need to set anything up for that button to display.
This could be caused by a theme or plugin conflict.
First try installing the Theme Test Drive plugin and use that to switch to one of the default themes such as twentyfourteen. (Theme test drive allows you to enable other themes without it effecting your visitors)
Then re-visits the edit event page and see if the buttons appear.
If not can you temporarily disable all non-EE plugins and see if those buttons appear please.

Hi Samuel,
If you edit a normal Post, do the Permalink, Edit, View Post and Get Shortlink buttons appear?
While it could be EE related, I have never seen this happen on any of our test sites.
Though EE has modified these in our event custom post type, they are a standard WordPress feature.
This leads me to wonder whether the theme or another plugin is affecting these.
You could try disabling all plugins and, if necessary, swap temporarily to a default theme, just to rule out something else causing this.

Hi,
the issue was because of a plugin. I tried Theme Test Drive, but it was not from the theme. I desactivated the plugin and was able to see the duplicate button under the title bar.

Would you mind posting the name of the plugin this was please?
We try to keep a list of known conflicts and reduce those when we can.
