Hello,
We are using Event Espresso Table View and use the Category Filter to filter by location. When we add new locations the drop down filter is no longer updating. Could you advise what is causing this please?

Hi there,
Just to double check, the category lists EE event categories but you mention locations. So your using EE event categories as locations right, so your adding additional categories in Event Espresso -> Events -> Categories?
Not adding additional venues/locations and then checking to see if those are included in the dropdown?
Can you link me to the page so I can take a look, please?

Sorry, so it pulls the information from Venues not Categories. We normally add a location in Venues and the dropdown list would update. I have popped a link below to a page…

It should be showing the following venues (Bath, Bristol, Bridgend, Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Virtual) but is instead missing Bath and Virtual.

Ah, ok. So when you put ‘Event Espresso Table View’ I thought you meant THIS add-on.
What shortcode are you using to output that section?
It looks like the ticket selector output had been modified and also has an additional dropdown added above (the one you’re having issues with) to filter each row based on the class.
Are you sure that dropdown dynamically populated based on EE venues? The reason I ask is the list doesn’t match your current venues:

Dropdown: Bridgend, Bristol, Cardiff, Newport, Swansea
If it was the case that the dropdown was only missing new venues you’d added into the dropdown I would have suggested caching or possible a missing custom field (set by the developer who made the changes) on those venues to include them. However, the dropdown includes additional items that aren’t public venue posts within EE, which suggests that dropdown isn’t populated just from EE venues.
Without seeing the code used to pull in that dropdown I can only guess as to what is happening as that’s not something EE includes by default.

Thank you, so that’s a custom shortcode and I have no idea how it is pulling in the data without seeing the code.
Generally, we don’t provide support for custom code but if you can add it to a Gist or Pastebin I’ll take a look and see if its anything obvious, failing that you’ll need to contact the developer who created the shortcode to fix this.
