hi there
I am looking to include:
parent / Children of parent / venue
each in their own dropdown – and I am using facetwp.coms paid plugin.
I cant seem to separate parent and chil into 2 dropdowns – also I can only get venue category coming through.

Hi James,
I’m afraid I’m not familiar with the facetwp.com plugin. Is there any documentation that hows how to use their plugin with custom taxonomies?

For the parent event category, you should be able to use this:
https://facetwp.com/index-only-top-level-taxonomy-terms/
and replace category with your facet name for parent Event Espresso event categories. Likewise, for child event categories, you use this:
https://facetwp.com/index-only-child-taxonomy-terms/
For venues, you’ll use the espresso_venues custom post type for the data type.
