Ive been trying to move the ticket function to the bottom of the event page all day however the drag and drop function in the page template wont work and I cant find a solution in the documentation/forum.

Hi,
What happens exactly, do any of the template parts move around? Did you set the Use Custom Display Order? option to Yes?

Yes sir, I tried setting it to yes. Basically it just highlights the text inside the boxes when i try to reorder them as if they where normal text, it doesnt do what is happening in the gif in your post.

Hello,
Another plugin on your site may be interfering. First, check that Event Espresso is up to date:

Then try temporarily deactivating other plugins through your WP plugins screen and then re-testing.
If it works, then reactivate a few plugins at a time and then re-test again.
Continue those steps until you pinpoint the source of the conflict.
If that does not help, then your theme may be triggering an error on the page and I would check to see if there is an updated version of your theme available.

First thing I tried was the plugins and the theme, also I just made sure it was up to date.

Hi, does it work if you switch to a default WP theme?
Also, are you familiar with a tool like Firebug or Chrome developer tools?

Hey, I tried switching to the “Twenty Fifteen” default theme and that didnt help. I have heard of firebug but never used it.

Im using Firefox 46.0 on Macintosh OS X 10.7, However it also doesnt work on chrome 50.0.2661.102 on yosemite 10.10.3

Hello,
By default (e.g. a new install of Event Espresso), the drag and drop is off/disabled. However, if you set to the custom display order to yes and immediately save, then it should definitely be available for drag and drop.
You have done some extensive testing (thank you) between checking on multiple computers and then trying on a default WP theme.
Could you share a temporary login so we can take a look?

Hi there,
I was able to move the drag and drop items around while the Yoast WP SEO plugin was temporarily deactivated.
If you would like to move the other items’ locations, you can disabled the Yoast WP SEO plugin, then it will work.
