Double payment with 2Checkout & Payment Status incomplete

Hi, I’ve also contacted 2CO and our host to try and solve this since we were hoping that changing host and moving from PayPal would end this!

However, a client has a “payment incomplete” message so made a second payment, and now finds that both of them have gone through!

Additionally in the payment status in the Event Attendee Data is set at incomplete.

Searching the forum and looking the at the 2CO settings hasn’t thrown any light on the subject.

Bright ideas anyone?

Hi Angus,

One thing that will surely help is you can check and make sure that the when the server serves up the registration checkout and thank-you, that they are not being served from a cache. They need to be served dynamically. So if you’re using any WordPress plugins that have caching features, or your server has built in caching, you set the Event Espresso registration and thank you pages to not be cached.
