Do venues store GPS coordinates?

I want to be able to do a custom query to find events within X # of miles of a given location.

Each of the events will be associated with a venue, and I see you can enter an address for the venue. Does that mean it’s stored in the database with GPS coordinates so that I can do this query?

Hi Abby,

The GPS coordinates are not stored within the database.

These are the address details stored for the venue – http://take.ms/eihEs

Those details are sent to google maps to display the address.

You could add the coordinates to the venues post meta and yourself and use the values from there.
