Your support license key can only be used on one site at a time. You can request a key release through your account page and then activate it on your new site.
Lorenzo, I have only one website (indigofirestudio.com). I was inquiring about upgrading that site from EE3 to EE4. I am confused because my profile says I have an EE3 license.
Yes you can use the same license key for EE3 as EE4, your key may require a reset after you upgrade, but you can request this within your account by simply clicking ‘Request Reset’ next you license key and we can reset it for you.
EE3 Licenses have access to EE4 included within the license so no you do not another license to use EE4, however EE4 may not suit your needs as it all depends on your requirements, for example if you currently use Promo codes you’ll want to stick with EE3 at this time as EE4 does not support them.
I would advise against updating your live site without first doing so on a local development copy (a clone) of your current site, to check there will be no issues with the update.
