Hi, I used the Divi-builder in three EE4-Events. It worked fine until a while ago. Then there was a Divi-Update and since then I cannot edit the event. It didn’t really bother me, because it was only used on a couple events, but now I have to change something and I can´t. When I click edit in the backend events list a blank page opens with the message “Your website has technical difficulties…” What can I do. I know there is some conflict with EE and Divi Builder so I don’t use it anymore. But for this one thing, is there a work around. I cannot deactivate the divi builder.
Thanks for your help.
Rene
You could temporarily revert back to the prior version of Divi, which would allow you to edit the event again. I wasn’t aware that events could be edited with Divi though. Is there a setting or an additional plugin that’s adding the Divi Builder to the event editor? If so, you could deactivate that setting.
Thanks Josh, It has been a while since that first happened. So I would need to roll back quite a bit. I will try to find out. I couldn’t find the option where to activate divi builder in EE editor. But yes the builder is there and it is optional to use with every new event post.
Please not that this feature does not work as expected if activated for Event Espresso post types. What some have done instead is use this plugin to extend the Divi Page builder to Event Espresso post types. Please note that either of the above features are not supported by Event Espresso.
