Hi there
Again – great plugin!
I’m using a buddypress-alternative called “PeepSo” in order to socialize with my customers. Now I need to display the authors permalink to his/hers PeepSo-profile.
Example:
1. Event organizer “The great magician” creates an event.
2. The event gets published.
3. A mother sees the event page and is interested about how great the magician is. Luckily he has a PeepSo-profile page – but unfortunately he forgot to note the link to his profile himself.
4. Luckily the profile link of the respective event author gets displayed by default.
How can I achieve that?
The link-structure is the following:
http://mysite.com/profile/?username/

Hi Philip,
Does the event page display the WP author link? If so, you could set up a redirect so instead of displaying the author archive, it will show their profile. Will that work for your use case?
