Hi, I’m looking at Event Espresso for a music school that has drop-in group classes of 10 children per class. There are 3 levels of classes, each recurring on several days at several times each week. We want to charge e.g. 6 euro for a drop-in class, or 50 euro if they pre-book a block of 10 classes (10 euro discount). Is there a way to do this with EE? It will be a recurring event, presumably using the book multiple events addon also? Many thanks in advance, |
Hi Rachel, How are you today? If they drop-in on a class, do they need to register online the same day or do they just show up and pay on-site? Can people pick and choose to attend any 5 of the 10 events or do they have to attend only the 5 they register for? I think Event Espresso 4 will work better for you than Event Espresso 3 depending on your answers to the above questions. |

Hi Garth, Thanks so much for your reply. We want people to register and pay online for the drop-in classes. If they want to book 5 (or 10) drop-in classes in advance they would get a discount. They would have to attend the 5 they register for – so they would pick 5 classes of ‘Kinder Music Level 1’ and choose the day/time. I guess it would be possible for us to put up a different form for booking 5/10 classes in advance and then we could add them manually – i.e. if there are 8 spots still available in the class we could add their name in and drop that down to 7? I see in another post below there is a volume discount add-on. Does this come as part of Event Espresso – I couldn’t find it in the list of add-ons. Also, what is the difference between Event Espresso 3 and 4? Many thanks, |

Hi Guys! Me too. Came across this post on a search. I want to sell registration to classes individually, or in blocks with a discount – all online. I have 12 total classes in a series to prepare for an exam. I would want to: 1. Sell registration individiually for each. Bill |
Hi Rachel, There is a Volume Discount add-on and it’s available to download for those who have purchased the Multi Event Registration add-on or the Business license as a pre-release product (it’s not sold separately). There are a lot of differences between Event Espresso 3 and 4. 4 is essentially a new product built from the ground up. Some of the big differences are in ee4 the events are now custom post types, a new streamlined registration process, and multiple datetimes per event. |
