We would like to automatically discount the cost of our events to active or retired military. I have a checkbox on the registration form. Can I use the Promotions plugin or Event Espresso natively to apply a discount if this box is checked?

Hi tmks54,
The promotions plugin would require they input a promo code into a promo code field at checkout to get a special discount. It’d require some custom development to make a discount apply from a checked checkbox.
You could contact the developer of the Price Modifier add-on and see if they have a way to do the reverse where instead of adding to the price of the ticket, it could instead apply a discount.
