I’m trialling Event Espresso at the moment. (You answered one of my questions earlier today).
I want to know if it has the following functionality:
* I have a Part 1 and a Part 2 course and a complete package including coaching
* I wish to offer an automatic discount whereby if someone books part 1 and part 2 they get (say £50) of the two courses.
* I wish to offer a further discount if they book part 1, part 2 and a coaching session.
Is there a way to set up these discounting rules automatically within the existing structure of Event Espresso or would this have to be manually coded?
Having taken another look at the site it seems that you have a multiple events registration add on.
So my question becomes if I have the multiple events registration add-on:
How easily can I create a discount rule for the scenarios:
1) Buy a package of event 1 + event 2 and get a discount of £50
2) Buy a package of event 1 + event 2 + 3 hours of coaching and get a discount of £100.
Or you can set up part 1, part 2, and the coaching session as individual datetimes in the event. Once you do that, you can set up a ticket good for part 1 only at full price.
Then for this:
1) Buy a package of event 1 + event 2 and get a discount of £50
You set up a ticket that grants access for datetime 1 and 2, with a price that’s £50 less than if both were bought separately.
2) Buy a package of event 1 + event 2 + 3 hours of coaching and get a discount of £100.
You create a ticket, and set the price to whatever regular price would be – £100, and assign that ticket to all three datetimes.
