Disappearing Attendees and Manually added groups

I’m using Event Espresso 3 (I had to set this up before you guys came out with EE4 working with Stripe) on a website: http://www.divered.com

I looked in the support forums for ‘disappearing attendees’ but did not see anything so I am starting this post.

Running latest version of WordPress, using a child theme of Canvas (the Wootheme). I have used EE before and never had these issues.

Issue 1) Someone Registers but is not in the list of attendees despite paying and getting a confirmation email.
I see when I click from the link in the email, he is in Event Espresso as a record. There is a transaction ID, Stripe processes the payment successfully. All looks well.

But when I go into that event and click on attendees and search the guy’s name, it’s not there. It’s like he doesn’t exist.

2) The guy offers group ticketing prices so sometimes those are manually entered. Click on the event and attendees and add an attendee button and put in the details. Three of those kind of records have disappeared.

Since there is a maximum capacity on the boat, this is clearly an issue. Thanks for any help. (Honestly, I would pay someone almost any amount of money to just fix this- they are understandably about to kill me.)
