Scenario:
Event DateTime has 2 types of tickets:
– Volunteer
– Regular Attendee
Is it possible to not allow a registrant to select both? This is an either/or scenario.
If I choose a Volunteer ticket, I cannot choose an attendee ticket and vice versa.

Hi there,
You can do this, but only with a single ticket, meaning the registrant is selecting 1 of either of those tickets.
To do the above, set the ‘Maximum number of tickets allowed per order for this event’ option (in the sidebar under ‘Event Registration Options’) to 1 and update.
The ticket selector will then show a radio button next to the tickets rather than a qty field.

Hi Tony,
Thanks I did this but there’s a bit of an undesired outcome.
I have 1 event with 3 date times and 2 tickets per date time.
Event 1 – 11AM
— Volunteer Ticket
— Attendee Ticket
Event 2 – 2:30PM
— Volunteer Ticket
— Attendee Ticket
Event 3 – 5:30PM
— Volunteer Ticket
— Attendee Ticket
I’d like to be able to mix and match.. say for example..
Event 1 = Volunteer
Event 2 = Attendee
Event 3 = Volunteer
So notice only 1 of the two options (Volunteer or Attendee) can be chosen per datetime.
If I follow the steps above, I can only have 1 ticket in the cart at any given time right?

Correct.
You currently can’t set up Event Espresso to limit the selection of specific tickets on a DateTime as above. You would either need to separate those datetimes into individual events or you’ll need custom development to hide/disable the other ticket when one is selected.
