Hello,

I need to create different Ticket and Invoice templates for different types of attendees.

For example,

Ticket Template1 for AteendeeType1
Ticket Template2 for AttendeeType2

and so on up to 6 different types of Atendees.

How can I do this?

Thank you in advance!

Rob

Hi Rob,

The Ticket and Invoice templates can only be assigned per event, not per ticket.

So currently you can have different templates for individual events, but not individual tickets types.

The individual ticket details such as name and description can be dynamically placed within the ticket template if that helps? Or are you looking for completely different templates per ticket?

Hi Tony,

I have different events, let’s call them Event A and Event B.

I need Event A to trigger Invoice A and Ticket Template A

and Event B should trigger Invoice B and Ticket Template B

How can I do that?

Thank you!

Rob

Hi Robert,

You can create custom message templates for each event that needs a unique invoice and a unique ticket notice.

Create custom message types
Login to your WP dashboard and go Event Espresso –> Messages.

Now locate the Invoice message type and towards the right side of the screen, you’ll see a create custom button. Click on it and you’ll be taken to the messages editor for this message type. Be sure to enter a unique name for this custom message type such as Invoice for Event XYZ. Then make additional changes and click Save.

Now go back to the Messages overview screen (Event Espresso –> Messages). Look for the ticket notice message type and click on the create custom button and you’ll be taken to the messages editor for this message type. Be sure to enter a unique name for this custom message type such as Ticket Notice for Event XYZ. Then make additional changes and click Save.

Repeat the steps above as needed for various events.

Enable for select events
Once you are done, you can enable them for specific events. Go to Event Espresso –> Events. Then click on an event. You’ll now be viewing the event editor. Scroll down to the notifications area. They’ll currently be set to Global. Adjust the invoice and the ticket notice to use your custom message type for this specific event and be sure to save changes.

Note that you’ll need to toggle between the HTML and the Email tabs to locate both message types.

Then repeat the steps mentioned above for additional events.
