I have a strange issue. I use 2 different prices on my site. Like one for children and one for adults.
When users choose 2 of each in their shopping cart they get 2 confirmation emails with 2 REG ID’s. One for the children and one for the adults. The price is in both emails the total price.
As I use the REG ID as master for bank transfer it is confusing which REG ID to use for the wired banking.

Here is an example (in DUTCH):

FIRST ONE FOR ADULTS:

Hi Bart, are you referring to these values?

12-55378bdfc325a vs 12-55378bdfc7fac

They are different as there is a primary registrant (parent) and then there are additional registrants (children).

Yes these values.
I understand but there are 2 confirmation emails send with different REG ID’s. I use the REG ID for bank transfer text. Is it possible to send only 1 confirmation email with the parrent REG ID only?

Hi Bart, are you referring to the payment pending email message type?

If so, there are shortcodes available for the primary registrant that could be used.

Hi, it will be sent twice if the primary registrant and the registrant message contexts are enabled.

Try turning one of those off by removing the TO shortcode from one of them and saving changes.

This is the shortcode that I was referring to:

[PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_REGISTRATION_CODE]

You’ll see that the [REGISTRATION_CODE] shortcode is used in this area of the message editor:

http://cl.ly/image/2x293x0x1w1E

You could swap in the [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_REGISTRATION_CODE] there.

The result would be that only the registration code for the primary registrant would be shown in the registration details emails.

Lorenzo,

I do not understand what you mean.
This is what I do:

I put my payment stuff directely in the Standard Registration confirmation email which is configurable in the General Settings page.

If I put in their the shortcode you suggest I still receive 2 confirmation emails but the shortcode is not accepted. Here is an example:

Bart De Cock, bedankt voor uw reservatie voor Red Star Line.
Gelieve het bedrag van EUR45.00 over te schrijven binnen de 5 werkdagen. Alleen zo kunnen we uw reservatie verzekeren.

I set the Send the registration confirmation email before paymend is reived to “YES” otherwise I don not get the confirmation email until I go to the Event – payment – sent payment.

Hi Bart, we’ll need to start again as I now believe that you are using Event Espresso 3. My prior feedback was on Event Espresso 4.

In Event Espresso 4, you can send one message to the primary registrant and a different one to additional registrants.

In Event Espresso 3, you can send a customized email notification but it will go out to all parties.

Is there another shortcode (email tag) that you could use for referencing this information for payments?
