Hi to all. First, Thank you for this great piece of software. Great. The Event List now looks like this: Is it possible that it can look like this: Of course the date must be the date of the event, but the rest could be like that. Is it possible? |
Hi Mike,
That’s either your themes own archive template or a custom template created specifically for EE events and your theme, so its it’s possible, but will take some custom development. Hi Tony. Thank you for your reply. This is great.Thank you for your information. It seems that this is a custom template of the theme. Very interesting. Thank you for this information. Yes, we are using the following shortcode und the page It would be nice to have a list view with a headline, short text, date of the event and a picture… Thank you for your help. |
Hi Mike, What you are trying to do s possible, but you’ll need to take control of the template being used to output the details. We do have some controls for the event list order in Event Espresso -> Events -> Templates. You can re-order and enable/disable content in that section for the events lists from EE. If those don’t work for you you’ll need to customize the template. The template loaded for the shortcode (which then loads other templates) is in Copy that to the root directory of your child theme and you can start altering how the shortcode details are output using the comments in that template file. |

By default the limit (and ‘post per page’) value is set to 10, but you can update that when using the shortcode using the
To this:
That will show up to 50 events per page, and whilst you could go higher, be careful you aren’t pulling too much data into a single request. |
