Perhaps I’m missing something but I can’t find how to delete abandoned and failed transactions. I read this thread:

https://eventespresso.com/topic/deleting-abandoned-payments-ee4/

but that does not apply to my case. On a regular basis I have visitors starting to register for an event but NOT completing it fully. This leads to an abandoned transaction. Now three things can happen: 1) They pay nevertheless by bank transfer (having read the bank details but not bothering to fully complete the registration) 2) Later they come back and register again (which is recorded as a new transaction) and pay correctly. 3) They don’t come back (yet).

To category 1) I can attribute a payment and then they disappear from the abandoned list. That is fine. However, I get stuck with a mix of abandoned transactions from guests are either in category 2) (having paid already via another transaction) or from category 3) (that have not paid yet). I do want to send reminders to category 3 without bothering category 2.

So, in order not to have to check all transactions over and over again, I want to delete category 2 from the abandoned list. However, I can not find such an option. What do I miss?

Hi Joost,

Event Espresso currently does not have the option to remove all registrations that have an abandoned transaction, however you can select they manually and Trash the registration through the bulk options dropdown.

Like this, select the registrations – http://take.ms/NpkMn

At the top of the page look within the bulk actions dropdown – http://take.ms/VR9jL

To note, if the registration has a lock icon, like this – http://take.ms/EIImD

Then there are payments within the transaction, like this – http://take.ms/DmNSJ

You will need to delete the payment first before the registration can be removed. Just click the trash icon on that payment to remove it.

Does that help?

Thanks Tony,
Now I have revised my workflow a bit to fit better with the EE features. I can live with it.
