Deleted locked Email in Questions

Hello,

I somehow deleted the email in questions and i added another question called email, thinking this may work but it doesn’t seem to have worked as i do not receive confirmation emails now, can you please suggest what to do?

Hi Nathan,

The ’email’ question is a system question, Event Espresso doesn’t allow system questions to be deleted. Did you remove this through the database?

I’m wondering if it has actually been deleted, or removed from the personal information question group. If you go to Event Espresso -> Questions. Do you see ‘Email’ with a lock icon?

Hi Tony,

thankyou for your quick response!! i have double checked and the Email with the lock icon has been removed. It was not through the database but in question by selecting delete question. How can i get this back so it function properly? The site is going live tomorrow and really need this one sorted?

Hi Nathan,

What version of EE are you running? It should be impossible to delete those questions.

If the question has somehow gone, then the only way I know of to recreate it would be to add it directly via the database

This screen shot from EE 3.1.36.2 shows the info that is needed (the ID was auto generated, it does not specifically need to be 11 – the rest does need to be exact) – http://take.ms/YBVFG

Hi Dean,

Thankyou for your reply, i have been able to fix the issue, what i did was update to the latest version and it put it back in there and emails are working again!!
